UX/UI Design Training for Future Computer Engineers | Najumi

Institut G4 is a higher education institution specialized in digital professions, computer science, and project management.

Present in several cities across France, the institute trains technical profiles through career-oriented programs, closely aligned with real-world industry practices and professional expectations.

As part of its curriculum in Marseille, Institut G4 called on Najumi to deliver a course dedicated to UX/UI Design. The objective was to introduce future computer engineers to the fundamentals of interface design, giving them a clear understanding of the challenges related to user experience, ergonomics, and visual consistency.

Our intervention was structured around several key areas:

• Introduction to UX Design and ergonomics principles
• Understanding UI best practices
• Getting started with Figma and the basics of interface creation
• Awareness of collaboration between designers and technical/product profiles
• Going further with design systems and CRO (conversion rate optimization)

The training was delivered to a group of 17 future computer engineers, combining theoretical input with hands-on practice. Each concept was quickly applied through concrete exercises, allowing participants to actively use the tools.

This approach helped place design back at the core of technical projects, as a driver of clarity, efficiency, and product quality.
